Brad Davis Band Leader and Lead Trumpet Player

Extensive touring and high profile performances with artists as Lee Castle/Jimmy Dorsey, Norman Lee, Eddy Howard, Al Pierson, Roberto Griego to name a few. Brad Played lead trumpet and traveled all over the world with  US Army bands. Brad also played freelance trumpet in Las Vegas for two  years one of those years was spent as a member of the Sahara Hotel  house band where he played with the who's who of Big show room acts and entertainers .






Brad also leads a smaller Band with equal exciting results

This Band is able to play Standards, Blues, Cool jazz and anything in between

Dale Beacock Renowned Educator, Businessman, and all around Sax Man  (Ladies He's single and rich) 

 
This guy plays them all Alto, Flute, Baritone sax, Tenor you name it.What a great guy to have on the band (plus the fact that he owns the biggest and best music store in the  Northwest can't hurt)


Ron Leach

Ron was raised in  Corvallis, Oregon where his musical upringing was the public school system. In 1992 he began serious music studies with Me Brown. At the time, Mel was with the Temptation and later Diana Ross. Ron began teaching at various music stores in the local communities and to this day has always maintained a students teaching schedule. Prior to becoming a full-time, professional musician, Ron was in first-line management at Hewlett-Packard for fifteen years. This commitment significantly limited his ability to travel on the music scene. During that time he performed with jazz, country western blues, rock, polka, bluegrass and folk ensembles around the Willamette Valley, at a wide range of venues: clubs, casuals, theater, symphony concerts, and collge and public dance classes. In 1994 Ron decided to follow his dream of being a full time musician and moved to Portland Oregon. His first job was house drummer and Music Director for the Queen of the West sternwheeler on the Columbia River for over two years. After saving enough to have a home built, Ron began working on land in pit orchestras for various threater around the Portland area. Concurrently, he was building a steady palying schedule with numerous jazz and blues bands. Ron began working at the Drum Shop of Portland in 1998 where he became the Education Director. One of his steadiest gigs at the time was in a trio with Blues aritists Paul DeLay and Janice Scroggins. Ron began attending intense percussion studies the sounds of Baby Dodds, Sonny Greer and other early jazz percussion masters. Ron's most memorable performance was with the legendary Charles Rousse. Rousse played a lifetime with Thelonious Monk.

Lee Elderton



Lee Elderton is at home in all genre of music. He has been the featured soloist of concerti and solo works with university and high school wind symphonies, and has toured internationally with the Spectrum Quartet. He has also performed with artists Louis Bellson, Lanny Morgan, Kim Richmond, Peter Cristlieb, Conte Condoli, Harry Connick, Charles McPherson, Ed Shuagnessy, Bobby Shew, Mundell Lowe, Marv Stamm, Holly Hofmann, Dave Friesen, Mike Keneally, Tiger Okoshi,HerbieMann, Bud Shank, Ernie Watts and Gary Foster.

Susie Jones



Susie Jones has a Bachelors degree in music education and a masters degree in music composition. Paul Mazzio, Tim Gilson and Ben Wolf were some of her classmates. She completed her degree at the University of Portland and started teaching right away. She has played with a number of bands throught the years including Goerge Reinmiller, Woody Hite, The lets Dance Band, and just a name of few. She has written primarily big band orchestral music and some small group arrangement. She currently leads the Mountain Hood Community College jazz band and serves as a broad member on the Mount Hood jazz festival.

Dan Donahue



Dan is a pianist who has been working in the portland area for over 30 years in a variety of different venues. These included concerts, conventions, as well as casual jobs. His playing credits include Chuck Berry, Al Rivers and the Inkspots. The Marvelettes, Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts, Art Abrams Swing Machine, The Woody Hite Band, and the Kicks Band, to name a few.

Dave Crow Sorry ladies Dave is happily married.


Trumpet Dave began playing the trumpet in 1948 at age 9. He moved to Portland Oregon in 7964. Dave has worked with such greats as Tom Jones, Tony Bennett, and The Orgen Sympony Pops with Norman Leyden, Dr. T., and the Woody Hite Band among others. Primary trumpet influences have been Bobby Hackett, Conrad Gozzo, Don Fagerquist and Blue Mitchell.
